Holy Wednesday

one day nearer to Pascha, and we've been working on our kulich, butter lamb, and cheese Pascha. We are going to start the Artos, which is a bread we use in our church. On Saturday night, Nummy will carry the Artos in the procession around our church.

Holy Tuesday

So holy week has started for us Orthodox, and we have started our Pascha preparations. We've done mostly baking today, but Mom let us make our own Pascha baskets, and see our gifts. We were sure to load them all with LOTS of candy.
Mom's kulich (sweet bread) dough rising. sorry about the grainy photo.
We forgot to turn a burner off after heating some milk, and burned the pan.

I'll post later on what it looks like, when it comes out of the mold.

Our Play-Dough Creations

The other day, we and mom made wee- felt people and Joseph played with play- dough. Eventually, the wee felt people were finished, and we all started to play with Joseph's dough. Joseph begged me to take a picture of his "rocks" and soon I had taken pictures of every thing on the table.

Joseph made these  rocks and  mom put the centurion there to protect  them from the evil siblings.

There are really easy to make with a toothpick, you just have to build it on a base so that they don't fall apart.
There are all of our wee felt people at the moment. This is a grainy photo so maybe I'll take some better ones later, but you get the idea that we have a lot. These are great for telling the lives of the saints and things like that. You can also make animals and people for models and dioramas.

Mutewolf

Our newest movie. You have to play with the volume some, but enjoy any way. In case you're wondering, Mutewolf is our little brother, Joseph.

Our Renaissance Paintings

Eowyn and Nummy decided to take pictures of Nummy as a Greek goddess, imitating Bottechelli and other Renaissance painters.
